It is so nice that we consistently have the sun with us these days. We try to make the most of it by getting in as many outdoor adventures as we can. A couple of weeks ago we went to Neskowin with some friends. This little cove is all the rage in our ward. It is the only beach they go to. Now I see why. There is about a 1/4 of sand between the road and the ocean which has a stream running through it. The kids don't even think about going in the ocean, they just play in the trickle of a stream. It gives mom's a chance to relax too, while the kids safely play.
Adam's first encounter with sand. Not only does he think everything is eatable, but he enjoys it.
Laying out, catching some rays. Little does she know, those ray won't penetrate her 100% UV protection sunscreen.
Playing with sand toys.
Ok, a little too much sand.
Ruby and I went to a Family Fun Day at a local park. It was a festival totally for kids and it was FREE, even the food! There were numerous amounts of booths that were giving things away like: life jackets, tee shirts, bowling certificates ect.. Ruby had a blast!!
Ruby is always pointing out school buses on are various drives. Today she got the chance to ride and even drive one.! Ruby's heaven!!
Hold hands with the school bus monkey. He is one of those ADHD kids that has to be buckled ;)
Life jacket and boating booth.
Special sand that doesn't stick to you!
