Last week started with my parents coming up for dinner on their way to Lincoln City. Ruby and Adam had some 1:1 time with "Nana" and "Pahpa". My dad used to read me the Newspaper "funnies" every Sunday. It was fun to him do the same with Ruby!
Stephen left early Monday morning to go to WI for some computer training for some new assignments he has at work. The children and I decided that would not stop us from having fun. Tuesday we met my family at Spirit Mountain Casino to eat breakfast at the self proclaimed "Best Buffet in Oregon". I think I will back them up on that claim. We did not leave hungry, in fact, I did not eat the rest of the day. Ruby enjoyed treats that she is not accustomed to.

Adam enjoyed the shiny lights!
When we arrived home there was a package waiting for us at the front door. We were warned by Stephen's dad and stepmom that we would be getting a surprise. They sent us some beautiful Tulips to make the time without Stephen a little easier. What a wonderful surprise!!!

I cut the ends and then Ruby arranged them. She did a wonderful job. However, she claims the flowers now. They are not Ruby and Mama's, they are just Ruby's. The Tulips brightened our week. Thanks Russ and Deb!!

This is Adams outfit to protect him from the sun. We had a couple over 60 degree days last week. I was afraid Adam might get sunburned with his fragile skin. We spent most of Wednesday and Thursday outside. Can't wait for the SUMMER!

Ruby and I had a Valentines party on valentines day and we still had some balloons left from the party. I did not have it in me to pop them for fear Ruby would think I was a bully. So, we decided to let the balloons fly. Yes, I realize now this is probably pollution, but it made one girl VERY happy.

The release.
