Fall is my favorite season. The weather changes and I get to pull out my huge cozy sweaters, turn on the heater, make soup and start the holiday season. We kicked off the week by selecting our pumpkins from a near by patch. It was free and we were the only ones there.
| So many choices. |
| This is the one |
| My little pumpkin. |
| Can I take this one? |
| Hitchin' a ride in the wheelbarrow. |
| I'd say she is not afraid of heights. |
| Ruby leading the way through the hay maze, that is covered. Smart people own this farm! |
| Adam recently learned to clap. Now he must clap everything in sight. |
| Going solo through the maze, now that it is not scary. |
| Everyone is looking in the right direction!! |
| Weighing the pumpkin, we might have paid for a 36lb pumpkin instead of a 5lb one. |
When we got home there was mail waiting for Ruby and Adam. I usually give Ruby some mail (junk), so she can have something to open like Stephen and I. To her surprise it was not a credit card ad, it was a singing card from her Nana and Papa.
| Adam would open his card, dance a little and then close it and stop. This cycle is still being repeated. |
Yesterday was the Beaver/ Cougar game. We were invited to our friends, the Kartchner's, to watch the game. We knew everyone there would be in there BYU gear, since they all attended the "Y". The Nielsen's came decked out in orange and black. So glad the Beavs didn't let us down!!
| Ruby practicing her cheers. |
| "Kill the Cougs!" |
Beautiful orange Fall photos! Loved all the photos, especially the one with you and kids, looks like it's from a magazine. The children in the pumpkin patch are precious, I always love pumpkin patch pictures! Adam is so cute in the wheel barrow. Ruby is adorable in her cheer leading outfit! Thanks for taking such beautiful photos and organizing this wonderful blog!
