SPRING!

A bit of updating is needed.

Little Ruby has turned one. She had her first party with

friends and family, ate her first bites of cake and ice cream and blew out her first candle. Ruby is now able to run, climb and throw a tantrum... that sounds mo

re like a 2 year old. She loves being outside and excitement feels her eyes if she hears or sees a

bird. "Ba, ba, ba...." is what you will hear as she runs toward the noise or sight of anything with wings. She also loves to be read to and tackle anything that is soft. Some of her favorite toys include: "soft elephant", "soft blanket" and don't forget "soft pillow".

Stephen has started a new job as a Clinical informatics coordinator, AKA a nurse that is a

computer nerd. He is excited to have a Monday thru Friday 8-4 schedule. You will have to ask him about his new friend Adobe Captivate. Stephen also found a new love in the Courthouse and has dumped the Kroc Center. Rachel is thinking of doing the same thing soon. Stephen and Rachel continue to look at houses, but who knows if they will ever seriously pursue one.

Rachel is enjoying being Mom 6 days a week and Nurse one day. Good thing family is close by to play mom on day 7. One thing she enjoys is finding new recipes online and trying them out on Stephen. It does make it

interesting with Ruby getting tired around 5 and Rachel

wanting to put dinner on the table around that time, but she has pulled it off thus far. She thought she would get extra ambitious

and make Ruby a themed birthday cake, from now on she may just stick with sheet cakes. Rachel still enjoys snapping pictures and enjoys having her main subject around all the time.
